Why I Watch Porn.

I am a woman and I love porn. Not arty, beautifully shot, teasing porn (although make no mistake, I’m a fan of that too) but dirty, hardcore smut. It turns me on — both with a partner and on my own.

And sometimes when I simply can’t be bothered to use my imagination – porn gets me off, in it’s basic, animalistic form, it gets me off without the effort.

Make no mistake, I wouldn’t factor a two hours porn session into my daily itinerary, I’m what you would call a recreational user – and I take it with a pinch of salt. I’m certainly old enough, and almost wise enough, to enjoy it for what it is and not read too much into it beyond that. Cheap and tacky for the most part, but, if I’m in the mood, kind of horny too.

Not everything sexy has to be subtle and sometimes a studio shot threesome, despite being ridiculously unrealistic in its comparison with ‘real sex’ can be hot to watch.

Society still considers porn to be a predominantly male genre of entertainment and it is often criticised for being too male focused. Big plastic blondes being ‘pumped hard’ by huge cocks – fake hair, fake teeth, fake boobs and not a pubic hair in sight.
And with porn videos with titles such as ‘slim chick can’t wait to be fucked,’ ’very juicy college girl masturbation’ ,’twat licked and fucked’ and ‘hot piece of ass bounces on cock’ (and that’s only my first page of ‘research’) you can forgive the naysayers for condemning porn as a whole, as one big, misogynistic mess.

Which, to a great extend it probably is. But I don’t watch it because of the political statement it’s making or its comment on feminism within society. I watch it because I want to have an orgasm, it’s that simple. And I suspect the main reason most people watch it too – they use it as an addition or a bit of fun like blindfolds, crotchless knickers or role-play, a bit of extra fruitiness as it were.

Both men and women are allowed to enjoy it for what it is. I like to consider myself reasonably well-educated and so, just as I’d take Nigel Farage on Question Time with a big pinch of proverbial salt (it’s not just hardcore porn which sells us lies and false aspirations after all – at least ‘hot piece of ass bouncing on cock’ isn’t on prime time TV) when I watch porn I am able to see through the ‘un-realistic portrayals of women and sex’ and recognise that in real life a man is unlikely to be able to stay hard for 3 hours in a gang bang on a golf course (oh yes, Red Tube caters for everyone)

In short, I’m not expecting to learn anything from it and I’m certainly not expecting fair and realistic portrayal of equality – I just enjoy watching other people fuck sometimes.
I don’t even watch it with the volume up , so dreadful is the acting (not even I can get turned on by the cringe inducing ‘Oh yeah baby!’) I enjoy it like I would enjoy candyfloss at the fair, I know it’s tacky and artificial and definitely not something you want to get hooked on … but in moderation, it’s tasty and sweet, and reminds me of how much I actually prefer real food that’s much better for me and fine to eat everyday.
Porn is no substitute for sex, and much of it is just downright ridiculous, however – in the right mood, with the right attitude (and the volume turned down low) I’m all for it.

Failing that if you’re not into porn but want to search for something else online, try and find another article which talks about Nigel Farage and juicy college girl masturbation on the same page. Damn I’m good.

Kudos to you dear beautiful lady. I admire your honesty and I too am a porn watcher. My favourite genre being the amateur fare. No silicon enhanced bits for me. Just real life amateurs.

Refreshing to see a lady who admits to watching and being turned on by erotica. keep up the great work and have a wonderful 2015

    Hugs

Excellent article blowing away the myth that only us guys watch porn. A friend of mine within the ,er, industry assures me the biggest consumers are 24 year old girls. This certainly bears out my experience. I would recommend to the discerning connoisseur the French cineaste Marc Dorcel for high end films with beautiful locations and men and women. No one man amateur , here ,holding a shaking video camera in a council flat in Wolverhampton of some overweight slut but erotica of the finest quality.
