Good Deed Dating is an award winning social enterprise working to get more single people volunteering through dating and has beeline of my favourite dating company for a while now!

It’s fun, has a social conscience and is a *great* way to meet like-minded singles without the monotony of endless dinner/drinks first dates. And this Valentine’s Day Good Deed Dating want to spread some love in London  - they’re leaving 1000 love notes around the city for strangers to pick up – and I LOVE IT!

As winner of the 2016 UK Dating Award for Innovation in the Dating Industry, this Valentine’s day Good Deed Dating want to spread some love in London by leaving 1000 secret love notes around the city for strangers to find.  The love notes will be hidden on tubes, bus stops, coffee shops or on the street for unsuspecting passers-by to pick-up, in the hope that the secret love notes will brighten people’s day and bring a smile to someone’s face.

“With the current state of the world we live in, this is our way of doing something small to spread some love in London this Valentine’s day,” says Hannah Whitehead, Founder and CEO of Good Deed Dating.  “February 14th should be a day for everyone, whether you’re single or not, and we want to demonstrate how even the tiniest of good deeds can make someone feel special.”

Good Deed Dating is a social enterprise that partners with a selection of leading and local charities across the capital to coordinate volunteering events for single people.  Good Deed Dating aims to encourage people to volunteer, whilst promoting the valuable work of charity partners.  Dates have included running a pop-up community kitchen with Be Enriched, cat socialising with The Mayhew Animal Home and bar tending at a fashion show with The Red Cross.

“Good Deed Dating is so different,” says James, a Londoner who has attended one of Good Deed Dating’s events.  “It’s amazing to do something for your community with such great people.  The world needs more good deeds right now.”

About Good Deed Dating

Good Deed Dating is an award winning social enterprise coordinating volunteering events for single people in London.  We spread the love through doing good. Good Deed Dating provides a different way for Londoners to meet likeminded people who share similar values whilst meaningfully contributing to their community.

About charity partners

Good Deed Dating’s growing number of charity partners aim to showcase the spectrum of charitable organisations operating in London.  We work closely with our partners to promote their work and help them to engage new audiences.  As part of our commitment to supporting our charity partners we donate 25% of our profit to support their projects.

About Social Enterprises

Social enterprises trade to tackle social problems, improve communities, people’s life chances or the environment.  They make their money from selling goods and services in the open market.  But they reinvest their profits back into the business or the local community.  And so when they profit, society profits.

About Hannah Whitehead

Before Hannah set up Good Deed Dating, she worked as a volunteer manager in the charity sector.  Hannah embarked on the creation of Good Deed Dating in late 2015 after identifying a gap in the market for a positive new dating initiative which supports charities in encouraging more Londoners into volunteering.  Last year, Good Deed Dating was a finalist for Female Startup of the Year.
